My name is Phil, and I live at Romana House, run by Servants Community Housing. I am walking the 5km as part of Team Servants! Team Servants at Run Melbourne is a group of people getting out and doing something to help make a difference in the lives of others.
Servants is about community, about respect, dignity and hope. We currently house 89 people across 3 properties in Boorondara, and are fundraising so we can open a fourth house. This house would be specifically for women who have been traumatised by domestic violence.
Our team is made up of residents, staff, family, supporters and friends of Servants Community Housing, and we would all be grateful for whatever you can donate to our efforts. Thank you in advance for your generosity - it really does mean a lot!
