MONASH CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
Monash Children's Hospital is a partner in the Victorian Paediatric Clinical Network and co-delivers Victoria's most important care in oncology, child protection, rehabilitation, neonatal intensive care, paediatric intensive care, orthopaedic and palliative care. Monash Children's Hospital is part of Monash Health, Victoria's largest healthcare service.
Building on our 120-year history from the Queen Victoria Hospital, the Monash Children's Hospital service is one of the busiest in Australia. We already deliver that state high level and complex care and thanks to the Victorian Government's investment, soon we will do this in a hospital built especially to care for sick children and their families.
Located in the south-east of Melbourne, Monash Children's Hospital is one of the fastest growing paediatric corridors in the country. The new Monash Children's Hospital will be located immediately adjacent to the Monash Medical Centre in Clayton and allow us to treat more children, more efficiently than ever before.
Construction of the 230 bed, 5 storey hospital commenced in July 2014 and was opened in April this year. This new world-class facility is home to world leading paediatric health care. A place where we combine groundbreaking research, with the latest medical technology to provide loving care to sick children and their families. A place of true excellence in every sense.
