Run to raise valuable funds for medical research!
Support Hudson Institute's inaugural Run Melbourne team and our vital research by helping us reach our fundraising goal of $30,000! These funds will go towards vital equipment that will enable our dedicated scientific minds to complete lifesaving work.
Hudson Institute has a history encompassing more than 75 years of research expertise, but 2017 is our first year participating in Run Melbourne!
Based in Clayton, at the Monash Health Translation Precinct, our 51 research groups are clustered into six specialist centres conducting basic and clinical research across our strengths in innate immunity and infectious diseases, cancer, women’s and reproductive health, and baby and children’s health.
We encourage collaboration between our groups, empowering our scientists to examine problems from a wide range of perspectives, sparking the out-of-the-box thinking behind our pioneering history of breakthrough discoveries.
These include the development of current IVF technology, prevention and treatment of chronic illnesses in premature babies, using our expertise in innate immunity to develop cancer treatments targeted to patients, and increasing our understanding of women’s reproductive health conditions like endometriosis.
You can help enable future research by donating to our page, or clicking ‘Join team’. We are grateful to all of our supporters for providing a brighter future.
